Your user profile contains the personal information tied to your Aourly account. It is separate from your company profile and applies across all companies you belong to.

Accessing your profile

Click on your name or avatar in the top-right corner of Aourly to open the user menu, then select Profile.

What you can edit

Name

Your name appears throughout Aourly and may be included on documents shared with clients, such as invoices and reports. Use your full professional name. Changing your name here does not retroactively update previously sent invoices or documents. Only future documents will use the updated name.

Email address

Your email address is used for logging in and receiving notifications from Aourly (invoice confirmations, approval requests, payment alerts, and more). If you change your email, you may need to verify the new address before it takes effect. Check the inbox of your new email for a verification link.

Password

To change your password:
  1. Enter your current password for verification
  2. Enter your new password
  3. Confirm the new password
  4. Click Save
Use a strong, unique password. A password manager makes this easy and secure. If you have forgotten your current password, use the Forgot Password link on the login page instead. Aourly will send a reset link to your registered email.

Connected companies

Your profile page lists all companies you are connected to in Aourly, along with your role in each:
RoleDescription
OwnerFull access to company settings, billing, integrations, and all data
CoordinatorCan manage gigs, clients, and time tracking
PerformerCan track time and view their own gigs
You can belong to multiple companies simultaneously. Switching between companies is done through the tenant menu in the sidebar.

Personal preferences

Your profile may include personal preference settings that control how you interact with Aourly, such as language and display preferences. These settings apply to your account regardless of which company you are currently viewing.

Tips

  • Keep your email current. If your email is outdated, you will miss important notifications and may lose access to password recovery.
  • Use a professional name. Your name may appear on client-facing documents.
  • Review your connected companies. If you no longer work with a company, ask the company owner to remove you, or leave the company through the profile page.

Frequently asked questions

Does changing my name affect existing invoices? No. Already-sent invoices keep the name that was used when they were created. Only new documents will reflect your updated name. Can I have different profiles for different companies? No. Your personal profile is shared across all companies. Company-specific settings (branding, rates, etc.) are managed under Company Settings by the company owner. What if I forget my password? Use the Forgot Password link on the login page. A password reset link will be sent to your registered email address. Can I delete my account? Contact Aourly support if you need to delete your account.
