How to Switch Companies
Step 1: Click the Company Name
Look at the sidebar or header area of Aourly. You will see the name of your currently active company. Click on it to open the company switcher dropdown.Step 2: Select a Company
The dropdown lists all companies you have access to. Click the company you want to switch to. The page reloads and you are now working in the context of the selected company.Tip: All data you see — clients, gigs, invoices, time entries — belongs to the currently selected company. Switching companies changes your entire context.
How Company Isolation Works
Each company in Aourly is a completely isolated workspace. When you are viewing a company, you only see that company’s data:- Clients belonging to that company
- Gigs created under that company
- Time entries logged for that company’s gigs
- Expenses tracked for that company
- Invoices generated by that company
- Bookkeeping records for that company
Roles Across Companies
Your role can differ from one company to another:- You might be the Owner of your own company with full control
- You could be a Coordinator in another company, managing gigs and approvals
- You could be a Performer in another company, with access limited to logging time and expenses
Things to Keep in Mind
- Data is isolated — You cannot copy or transfer data between companies
- Notifications are per-company — You may receive notifications from all companies you belong to
- Last active company — When you log in, you are taken to the last company you were active in
- Subscription is per-company — Each company has its own subscription plan and billing
